For those of you who are familiar with my other blogs, this new blog should be an easy transition. For those of you who are not familiar. Let me give you a brief rundown on myself:
My name is Rob Astle, I originally hail from a small town in Kansas. I moved to Las Vegas seven years ago. At the time things were fairly good for me and then it happened. The economic crash wiped me clean of everything I had and then some. Knowing that I needed to change, I began exploring and promoting ideas that I believed would be beneficial for the so called 'new economy' that's being born in Las Vegas. Now, I've always enjoyed writing, so a few years ago I started blogging about some of my brilliant ideas. Turns out, no one cares about any business ideas I have or the 'new economy' in Las Vegas. For the longest time it discouraged me, I mean what guy doesn't dream of being a business titan. Well, that dream has faded. It's not totally gone, it's just faded.
In the meantime, all was not lost in my efforts. Even though people may not care about any business ideas I have, the thing that was turning them on was the reality aspect of my blogging. Reality and 'reality genre' writing is something that I've proven good at. It doesn't pay much, as a matter of fact it doesn't pay at all. But, I'm schooled enough at it that it's well worth the effort. If anyone in the world needs to reinvent himself; it's me. 'The pauper of reality' is going to be dedicated to just that, 100% reality. All the recent years of observation has lead me to unequivocally believe that's what people want to see and read. Now, I have the good fortune, if that's what you want to call it, of living in Las Vegas. I promise there isn't a better town for my exercise: Will post first story soon.
